Community Impact Sunday 2026
A community-wide outreach designed to serve more than 5,000 individuals across our area with free resources, healthcare, encouragement, and support as students, teachers, and families head back to school.
This isn’t just a church event – it’s a community investment.
Tennis Shoe Giveaway
Free Nike Shoes Giveaway – Eligibility Criteria
- Age/Grade range: Child must be elementary school-aged (typically 5-11 years old, or grades K-3).
- First-come, first-served: Distribution continues until inventory is exhausted.
- Size availability: Shoe must be available in the child’s specific size at the time of the request – no reservations or holds for out-of-stock sizes.
- Limit per child: One pair per child, while supplies last.
- Parent/guardian presence: A parent or guardian must accompany the child to confirm size and complete the intake form.
Assistance is provided on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted. Submission of an application does not guarantee funding.
Application can be downloaded and completed prior to the event or completed onsite.

Volunteers must register! Community attendance is free and open to the public.
Chesapeake Regional Mobile Clinic
Free services will be available to families in a custom-equipped doctor’s office on wheels.
School Physicals: A routine health check required by states like Virginia before entering public or private school, kindergarten, or playing sports.
Health Screenings: Blood pressure, A1C, glucose, and general risk assessments.
Chronic Care: Follow-ups and management for chronic illnesses.
Testing & Vaccines: Rapid HIV testing, Hepatitis C testing, and routine vaccinations.
Support Resources: Direct linkage to Healthy Chesapeake HUB coaching and Food-as-Medicine resources.
