Event Name:  SonTreasure Island – Where Kids discover God’s Love!

Event Description: At SonTreasure Island, your treasure seekers will discover the rich treasure of God’s love

through the truths found in 1 Corinthians 13! Come join us for 5 days of self-discovery of God’s

love.

Description for the volunteers: Come be a part of the great adventure as we discover “God’s Love” for us.

 

Volunteers are needed for the following positions:

  • Treasure Island Guides: Lead assigned group of students to each activity center.
  • Treasure Island Guide Assistants: Assist guides in leading assigned group of students to each activity center.
  • Treasure Point Bible Stories Teacher : Read and discuss daily Bible stories and journals with students.
  • Games Gazebo Teacher: Oversee outdoor games correlating to daily Bible stories for each group of students.
  • Sea life Sculpture Teacher : Make animal crafts as they relate to the daily Bible stories with each group of students.
  • Coconut Snack Shack Teacher: Demonstrate making the snack of the day while recapping Bible story key points
  • Island Adventures Teacher: Oversee outdoor Island related games for each group of students.
  • Caribbean Island Crafts Teacher: Make crafts related to daily Bible stories with each group of students.
  • Coral Reef Cinemas Teacher: Show each group of students the DVD/Skit of the day discuss key points from the DVD.
  • Treasure Seekers Missions Teacher: Lead in mission discussions and hands on activities that correlates with daily Bible stories.
  • SonTreasure Tunes: Teach song of the day with the accompanying DVD
  • Learning Center Lagoon: Conduct learning centers that correlates to daily Bible stories. This includes making crafts, experiments, and snacks.
  • Decorations/Set up (Help set up prior to VBS) 
  • Clean Up/Take down (Help take set down and clean up) 

 

 

Registration Time:  7:30am-8:30am Start and End time:  8:30am-5:30pm

Event Dates: July 27 – July 31, 2015 Range of times: 11 hours

Registration opens: May 24, 2015 – Registration Closes: July 10, 2015
