On June 27, 2015, the Men’s Fellowship of First Baptist Church South Hill, 3633 Galberry Rd., 23320, will sponsor a Panel Discussion with local Law Enforcement Officers.

We are sponsoring this discussion based upon events that continue to occur between Police Officers and young African American males in communities all over America.

Our purpose and goal is to allow our FBCSH Mentees and other young men from the church and community, the opportunity to:

  1. Interact with a Police Officer in a non-confrontational and safe setting
  2. Receive tips and information concerning the do’s and don’ts when in an uncomfortable situation with a Police Officer
  3. Ask questions regarding any concerns they may have
  4. Show Officers that all young men are not the same

If you have a son, grandson, other family member or friend who might benefit from this kind of forum, please plan to join us at 10am in the FBCSH sanctuary. Admission is free!
