MISSION
We exist to teach and train the children, in a relevant way, to know about the Kingdom of God and show the love of Jesus Christ through their words, actions, worship, and personal relationship with God.
VISION
To prepare and equip the children of FBCSH to recognize their gifts and use those gifts to have an evangelistic impact in the Kingdom of God.
Hill’s Kidz
Zoom and FB Live 12 Noon Every Sunday
We believe all children are gifts from God.
The Hills Kidz ministry is designed for children Pre K- Fifth (5th) grade. Our ministry is child centered where they learn to recognize their gifts and use them to have an evangelistic impact in the Kingdom of God! In Hills Kidz, we partner with parents to guide kids toward a HEART for God. We believe that Children’s Ministry is Family Ministry and Family Ministry is Children’s Ministry. We at FBCSH forge effective partnerships with families to help them grow in their relationship with GOD. We want to see our children’s faith grow in a safe and fun environment.
Hills Kidz Children’s Ministry is the place “Where We Pray Hard!”
Hill Students
IG Thursday 7:30pm
Hill Student Ministry is a ministry that intentionally seeks to connect high school students to Christ using the vehicle of relationships as stated in 1 Thes. 2:8. Our students are so dear to us that we not only share the Gospel of Christ, but we also share our changed lives. Hill Students Ministry is designed for Middle and High Schoolers grade 6th-12.
Middle & High Schoolers are special people, and we want to invest in them! We understand that at the Middle & High School age, kids are at a crucial stage in their faith development, so we want to provide an environment for them to learn, question, grow, and make friends!.
Middle & High Schoolers are invited to participate in the first part of our worship service on Sunday Mornings. After the songs, they are dismissed to their group to hear a message at their level, have discussions, and play games. We want to see young people’s faith grow in a safe and fun environment!
Hill College
IG Sunday 3pm
Here at Hill College Ministry, we want to help ministries on the college campus evangelize, disciple, and mobilize students while also connecting them to our local church.
We want to be a part of taking the gospel to every student on every college and university campus here in the Hampton Roads area and beyond.
Through small group study with topics relative to college life and experiences, our goal is to strengthen young men and women for daily campus life by offering online intra-campus Bible studies. Mentoring and leadership development will be offered through professional collaborations as we prepare our students for their future – college and beyond – by offering the following…

- Career Shadowing Program
- Internship/Job Placement Assistance
